Aterm WiMAX Tool for Android
Aterm WiMAX Tool for Android is a free utility tool developed by NEC Platforms Ltd. This app allows users to check the WiMAX mobile router's signal strength and battery level from their smartphones. The app also provides easy-to-use screen controls to update firmware, switch to sleep mode, and switch internet connections between WiMAX and public wireless LAN.
The app supports various Android versions from 2.1 to 4.2, and it is compatible with some specific smartphone and tablet models from NTT DoCoMo, au, SoftBank, and EMOBILE. It also supports AtermWM3600R and AtermWM3800R from the Aterm series. However, users are advised to check if their Aterm firmware is up-to-date before using the app.
Please note that remote start-up (starting from sleep mode) is available via Bluetooth on smartphones and tablet devices. However, some smartphones and tablet devices may not display the app's screens correctly.
